A Program Manager is empowered to manage a programme and is responsible for the achievement of the program objectives. A program includes several projects or initiatives that are related to each other and which are managed and coordinated by a Program Manager as a whole to achieve benefits that would not be achieved by managing them separately. The role of the Program Manager is very different from that of a Project Manager.
